FINALLY!!!

So I have been MIA for a while… here is a look at back at my crazy LONG month of February lol

I swear I Felt like the shortest month was the LONGEST.  I went to the hospital at 35 weeks and 5 days (super bowl weekend)  I was feeling like crap and had the weirdest pressure on my chest and I felt dizzy. So I go to the ER for just chest pains …turns out I was having contractions 4mins apart and I was already 2cm dilated.  I was so excited! Carter came at 36 weeks so I was happy to think Nolan would too! Well the happiness went away when the Dr ordered for me to have my contractions stop! (I was so mad! Apparently since I’m not exactly 36 weeks I’m too early so he had to stop it)  I think it was sat night and he didn’t want to miss the super bowl the next day so he just wanted me to go home lol (just me thinking)

Anyway they gave me the shot that hurt more than my contractions and I was sent home… I ended up in the hospital a few days later thinking I was in labor but still nothing..sent home and was getting aggravated. I just wanted Nolan OUT!

My Dr gave me an induction date for the 28^th! At 2am! I was so excited the day before that I could barely rest.   So I get to the hospital at 2am they don’t induce me till 430 I got my happy medicine (epidural) at 7:30.. this whole time I thought I was going to be alone for my labor because my best friend aka MOM was in CT and my only family member I had , had to stay with Carter. But thanks to technology Mommy was right by my side pretty much the WHOLE time.  I brought my laptop and she was on her Ipad.. Thank god for OOVOO! Lol When it was time to push It was just me and mom via her Ipad in her office… then very last min my little cousin came in to help (perfect timing!) 10mins later and a few pushes Came out NOLAN BRYCE J 11:53am of course I cried with happiness, One just to finally see him another of relief that I’m no longer pregnant! Lol This labor was 10 times easier and faster than my labor with Nolan.

36 weeks

This past weekend I have been in and out of the hospital. I went in on Saturday because I was feeling alot of pressure on my chest and it was getting kinda hard to breath. I also felt like passing out. So to the ER i went... found out that I was actually contracting every 4 Min's. and I was 2-3cm dilated. The RN asked on a scale of 1-10 how bad are the contractions. I had to laugh because I didn't even feel the contractions I felt more pressure on my chest than anything. I was excited that Nolan wanted to come out early (I'm tired of being pregnant lol) Carter was born at 36 weeks as well. They sent me up to L&D and I was happy that things were progressing ... TILL they called my DR.  Since I was 35 weeks and 5 days and not a FULL 36 weeks my Dr wanted to stop the contractions ( i was so mad) they said if i was 36 weeks they wouldn't have stopped them. I swear i think it was because i was there sat night, Nolan probably wouldn't come till the next day and the Dr. didn't wanna miss the Superbowl!  So i was sent home on bed rest till my next appt. :(  and the damn shot hurt more than my contractions

so Sunday comes and I try to rest but ...having a 3yr old and living on my own..there was no such thing as bedrest. The next day I woke up with cramps/contractions  that I can feel. Not painful but enough to bother me. I started timing them and they where coming every 4-5 mins. And the back pain from hell came back.. so I called my Dr's office and they told me to head over to L&D,,, and they hooked me up yet my contractions weren't consistent so they called my Dr. and he wanted to give me the shot again to stop them! thankfully the RN talked him out of it. I would have been so pissed if he gave me the shot again. I asked the nurse soooo How am i suppose to know its time to head to L & D... she said when the contractions get so bad they take your breath away.   ( I seriously wanted my epidural by then!) lol  I just hope my appt on wed goes well and I'm at least 3-4 cm. (get to have an ultrasound too) The RN said the baby looks big just by my belly size.  I don't want a 9pd baby! my cooch will never forgive me! lol.

Curious Carter

So I have been getting in alot of packages from my online shopping and some stuff my mother has been sending me too. Well my mom had ordered me a breast pump and Curious Carter of course had to ask what it was. I don't beat around the bush with my son when it comes to learning about things because I notice he understands more if you just get straight to the point. So I explained how mommy has milk in her boobies for Nolan. So when Nolan is born he drinks the milk from Mommy's boobs and the pump helps mommy get the milk out. I also explained that when he was a baby he drank from Mommy's boobs too. He understood... then looked at me for a minute with a smile and said. "mommy, I'm Nolan, I'm  a baby, I wanna drink boobies!" lmao I couldn't help but laugh out loud. He laughed too. I swear I think he says this stuff just to get a laugh outta me.

Impatiently Waiting

So I'm only  6 weeks away from my due date and I will die if I hit over time. I'm so over being pregnant at this point. I just can't wait to have my son in my arms already! I have the worse case of "pregnancy insomnia" I can't get to bed, I am wide awake at like 2 am... and tossing and turning trying to get comfortable because Nolan thinks my belly is a late night bounce house. The back pain isn't getting any better either. I was looking at pictures comparing the 2 pregnancy's and I am way bigger than I was for Carter!  This scares me because I hope Nolan isn't too big that I need a c-section. I dread a c-section.  I hear the healing takes FOREVER!!! and it is a major surgery. Since I'm living on my own, it will be impossible for me to care for Nolan, Carter , and the stitches/Pain from the surgery. :( so I'm definitely praying for a regular delivery.  Ive been keeping my mind busy buy online shopping. At the moment I don't have a car so online shopping is the best way to get everything I need for Nolan before he gets here. So far I have been extremely happy with all my purchases.  *Mind you Carter came at 36 weeks - 7pds 9oz.... 0_0  imagine if he stayed inside for 40 weeks!

Carter on the other hand has been nothing but a little pain in my butt, but I love him so much. He knows when he tests mommy and when I'm not happy with his attitude or that he doesn't listen to what I say. His new line to get back on my good side is... "mommy, don't be upset. Smile for me!" when he first pulled that line It melted my heart. How can I be upset with this little kid after he says this?  but I'm catching on because he has been using that line way too much after he says sorry. then he still acts up a few mins after. smh Ooh and he has been serenading me with "our song" {You are my Sunshine} I always sang this song to him since he was born and now he doesn't want me to sing, he wants to sing it to me :)  Love him!!


He has been needing a hair cut for the longest so this past weekend We took our trip to the Barber :) I hear some kids give the hardest time, but Carter loves it, Every Barber he has gone too says they wish other kids were as good as him.

Whats going on With baby Nolan at 34 weeks!....

At less than two months to go, he weighs in at about 4.2 pounds to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches.

He's recognizing and reacting to simple songs, if you're singing them. (If you're not, start! He may find them soothing after birth.)

He's also urinating about a pint a day.

10 more weeks!!!

So I have hit my 30 weeks! It kinda went by pretty fast but I know the next 10 weeks are going to be the longest EVER!! Each day that passes the anticipation gets stronger! Ive done alot of online shopping to keep me busy, and I can't wait to see all the stuff I bought for Nolan :)  I still need to get the travel system but Won't get it till a little later (already have one picked out )  Carter thinks its so funny to feel Nolan kick his hand. And when Nolan is asleep Carter tries to talk to Nolan so he can wake up lol smh. BTW I look HUGE!!! lol

 Ive also been planning Nolans Sip N See get together when I head back to CT.

Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Intruder Alert!

Soo  few nights ago I had a big scare! It was around 2am and I was tossing and turning in bed as usual, All of a sudden I hear raddling on my screen door to the porch. As if someone was trying to get it ( I always lock all my doors including that one) I was super scared! I  peeked out side but didn't see anything. Then I hear it again and I also hear foot steps going up and down my stairs next to the porch and noise from the railing. So at this point I'm thinking OMG someone is trying to get in! I get my phone and call 911! Because of the recent events that had happened to me, I didn't want to take any chances so I called right away and told them that I was scared someone was trying to get in. I was on the phone with the lady and she kept asking if I still hear anything or see anything, At this point I was not trying to look out the window with the chances of the Intruder seeing me! but I can still hear the door trying to be forced open. once I can see the cops light shine on my porch so I knew it was ok to look outside. So when I did look out the window and look at my door... guess who is trying to get in..... A DAMN BABY RACCOON!  SMH... I had left  the garbage next to the stairs by accident. and the Raccoon was scratching the screen next to the door to get the garbage!.I was so embarrassed, The cop was like um, you have a raccoon at trying to get in lol. but they where really nice about it. (mind your it was 4 cops that came to my rescue smh) they helped get ride of the Raccoon. I kept apologizing because I couldn't believe I called 911 for this lol... but one of the cops said, Haven't you seen the show COPS ... we save racoons too! lol.. so that was my big scare smh A freaking baby raccoon!
