Celebrating the end of my First Trimester In MIAMI

Just got back from a great 5 day vacation with my best friends. Had a Fab time! Although I couldn't drink I had fun watching my girls act a fool lol. The weather was amazing water was clear Minus the infestation of jelly fish washing up on the shore lol.  My pregnancy is going great, my affair with the toilet is officially over, (no hard feelings lol) Smells do get to me at times but are not so bad. Next appointment is Sept 9th

Eh not so much craving but Fresh Salads do hit the spot for me :)

So I traded sides! I'm no longer Team Pink! I want another boy, lol Girls are too much ,

 (hair bows, dresses, Barbies, baby dolls, tea partys) I don't think I wanna deal with all that. And with a boy you just have to worry about him with a girl you have to worry about all the boys she comes in contact with! Although I will be happy and blessed to have a girl, a boy would make things a little more easier :)  {First Ultra sound Sept 1, My Mr and I are excited}

Still none yet, just decided to buy a size larger than I normally do, and the style now is loose flowing shirts; Forever21 helped me rack up on some good deals... 9 tops for 50 bucks

Happy HERSday!

I started texting my girlfriends every Thursday HERSday about 2 years ago. Since we all live busy lives and live in different states, its my way of keeping in touch just to share some inspirational thoughts or just a morning smile. I meet my friends in high school and have become closer ever since. {exception-M- has been my bestie since 6th grade} I lost some friends through the years too. but these girls have never left my side even when I slacked in the friend department. I'm grateful to have  S,M,I,C,K  in my life. They tell me how it is... Straight up no chaser! When we get together its always a good time. {loud, silly, funny, crazy, honest and most of all I'm proud of all of them too}  Its hard to come by a one good friend in your life but I was lucky to have 5! 

This Sat I will be heading to Miami to reunite with my Fab girl friends and catch up!

Are you afraid of the dark!?

No not the 90s show......

I got no sleep  last night :( my Mr went outta town for work and my son is outta state with my parents... so I was home alone! I'm a grown woman and I was soo spooked to sleep alone in the house. My biggest fear is a home invasion and the fact that I was alone scared the hell outta me. I was tossing and turning all night. (not to mention, the fact that my belly is no longer flat made getting comfortable uneasy.) Every sound I heard made my eyes shot Wide open! (like that was going to help me see in the dark smh) Even when I tried to dream I would dream of scary thing... like wth I'm 25 why am I acting like a child! I barely slept I would wake up and swear i heard someone messing with the door. I hope I get over this... I'm too old to be scared of the dark. I know the dark always plays tricks on you but I'm done with the games I just want sleep!

Needless to say the dark won last night!.....till we meet again...(I will get over this!)

Where Children sleep

I came across this book while blog surfing and it really made me think about my own bedroom growing up. I wasn't an only child but since my brother was 8 years older than me we never was that close.He moved to Florida when he was 16...I was lucky to have my own room ,  so I was kinda the only child growing up.  My room was my own special area where I would write , draw and use my imagination. My mom always knew I was in my room... kinda felt like I never left it unless I had to. 

 I was very blessed to have what i had compared to other children around the world. I think this book is a great wake up call for some spoiled unappreciative kids. Even those kids who are grateful, it is a good look into the lives of other children around the world... and how some barely have a mattress/couch to sleep on.

I'm having an affair with my toilet...

Omg... I have been getting the worst head aches, and sleeping it off doesn't even work. I'm not too crazy about taking medication while pregnant but boy does my head hurt :(  I work with chemicals in school so I know its a chance they give me head aches but I use a fume hood and a I wear a mask so I'm not inhaling much. Today in school i was in the most crabby mood! everything everyone said annoyed me. I'm not much of a spunky hyper woman in the morning and just people saying hello to me, i felt like saying" blah leave me alone !"... (bitchzilla was slowly coming out) I felt so tired that by the time I got home I dropped my bags on the couch and planted face first on my bed, still in my scrubs... didn't wake up till 2 1/2 hrs later... still tired and just not feeling well.

 It alot has to do with my 10 pm appointments with Mr. toilet...I spend more time with my toilet at night then I do my MR. I was a little late last night since it was around 10:40 when my body wanted me to recap the beautiful red lobster dinner I had with my Mr. Earlier in the day. No fun.. I swear there are two things I can't stand Hiccups and Throwing up! its the most uncomfortable thing. I felt like my head was just gonna explode from all the blood rushing to my head. thankfully my Mr already knows to have a bottle of water ready and open for me once I can get a break from hugging the toilet.  He knows its just a temporary affair...  and I'm not enjoying it lol

2nd Drs Appointment

I heard the baby's Heart beat! It felt great!.... Baby is doing great!. I told the Dr. there better be only ONE in there lol. His response " to early to tell" YIKES! Ive been watching too many chase commercials with the lady coming back and telling her husband she is having triplets! Multiples don't run in mine or my Mr's family... so lets hope we are not the first.

 On another note... I'm going to look around for another Dr. I'm not too happy with the one I have. Although the hospital i get to have the baby at is beautiful , the staff and the Dr. don't seem to not be all there. The receptionist where not friendly the Dr seemed to just treat me like a number. My last Dr with my first child was really nice, even though they had rotating Dr's each one made me feel comfortable, and i think what is important is ...ME! lol. When it comes to my health I don't like to mess around. I want someone to actually care about their patients and not just the paycheck. So in the mean time I will be looking for another Dr who works out of that same fancy shmancy hospital :)  


Going to schedule my first Ultra sound too :)

Gender Reveal/Baby Shower

I know its Waaay too early be thinking about  the party but I can't help it! So many cute themes out there. I plan on having a Gender Reveal party. When I'm ready to find out what it is, I'm going to have the Dr put the pic in a SEALED envelope and I won't open it till the day of the party in front of friends and family. Everyone will put in there bets on what they think its going to be... then we get to see who has the skills lol {{Team Pink}} Since both of our families are in CT we are going to have the get together there with friends and family.  It will be time to visit and celebrate. I thought Carter was going to be my only child so I gave everything away :/ so now I have to start off from scratch so hopefully this party will help us get some of the things we need.  Won't be till Early December though..... so I have a nice long wait.

I wanna do more of a brunch then a full on dinner, with some finger food and tons of desserts ( I love the sweets) My last shower had not much of theme... but Everyone enjoyed themselves and Baby Carter received tons of gifts... thankfully one of the guest had a truck with a bed so he could drive all Carters gifts to the house lol. Since we are going outta state I pray we get gift cards lol or nothing too heavy we can't ship to FL. I just can't wait to see all my friends and family , Its been too long :)

Hair Hair Hair

So I heard from everyone that  prenatal vitamins give healthy shiny hair. For my pregnancy with Carter my hair was growing thick and beautiful and shiny, and I had beautiful curls.... now... YIKES! I have absolutly no curls and my hair looks like I  put my finger in a outlet! Fizz Dryed and Nasty. I have no idea what to do with my hair anymore. I use to leave it down to dry after I washed it and I would get get beautiful curls now ... they form semi dreads! wth?  I need help bad.. if anyone has Ideas to help me with this dilema please help!   (old wives tale ... if your curls go away during your pregnancy ... your having a girl because she is taking your beautiful curls) < this better be true.. i better not be loosing my curls for nothing lol

Hey Mr. Carter!

Carter Jayrell(Better Known as CJ) Born in the early hours of November 29th 2008. He is a typical boy! Loves to jump around and get into everything! Likes to be independent but knows how to get mommy to treat him like a baby. Going through the terrible twos soon to be 3 in November. A very picky eater. I think he is the only kid who doesn't like peanut butter and jelly!

Favorite Shows: Dora/Diego ,Blues clues, Bob the builder, yo gabba gabba

Movies: Cars, Monsters inc. Lilo & stich. he use to love thomas but he is slowly growing away from it.

Foods::Rice and beans, yogurt, grapes... ooh can't forget bananas!

9 weeks and Counting...

Hit my 9 weeks... and boy am I already tired of being pregnant lol... just kidding. I just wish the morning sickness, or shall i say Night sickness was over with! Faithfully at 10 pm I would be rushing to the toilet to recap everything i ate that day. No fun at all since i work overnight and the first hour of work I'm stuck in the stinky employee bathroom! I do have my crappy mornings too where laying down is better than getting up and feeling like I'm on a small fishing boat in the middle of the Atlantic. I'm actually grateful it's not as bad as my pregnancy with carter, i was to the point where the next step was bringing my pillow and blanket to the bathroom just so i didn't have to run outta the room every 5 mins.

Its like I want to eat But have no idea what I want.... and when I do eat I'm never satisfied.

Sex Of the Baby....

I pray for a girl since I already have a little boy. I'm planning on doing a gender reveal party after my ultra sound. Its gonna be hard having the info in an envelope and not peeking lol . I want this to be a fun event for our family.  I don't have much family here so we are planning on taking a trip up north so me and the Mr. can find out with the rest of the family.  {{TEAM PINK}}

ZzzZZzz....

Either I get too much off or not enough... there are days where I can literally sleep all day!

Maternity clothes....

Not quiet yet...thankfully I'm in scrubs for most of the day so once I get home i throw on my PJs. I do need to start getting some maternity pants because when i try to put on mine (yikes) its a little bit of a tight squeeze.  I'm not into fashion as much as some people. I use to love it when i was younger but now its like you need MONEY to waste if you wanna look like you came outta a style magazine. I like to go for comfort now since I'm always running around with Carter. High fashion style can stay on the runway. Pass me some skinny jeans(they sell maternity ones too!) a comfy blouse and some flats and I'm ready to go.

Side Notes....

I really want to do some pregnancy yoga, it will  give me more energy and help me stay fit. I also need something to do so i don't end up as a fat prego couch potato!

 I'm finishing up my last semester in college to get my degree in Histotechnology... and BAM! I'm Pregnant again! I am already blessed to have a handsome little boy named Carter, who is way more than a handful so now the thought of juggling 2 children scares me! But I'm up for the challenge. My due date is thankfully right after i finish my externships and before I get to walk. So i have two months in between birth and Graduation to drop the baby weight lol. Since I already have a little boy I'm praying for a little girl so my family will be complete! this will definitely be my last pregnancy. I want to give my Children (yikes I have to get use to saying that lol) all my attention and concentrate more on creating memories with them.  Hope you enjoy my blog and let the adventures BEGIN!....
